John D' Allara ,a long time Spyderco collector who used and owened nearly every model Spyderco made,was one of the many hero's who went into the World Trade Center 1 on sept. 11 and did not come out. When the release date for this new rescue knife it is only fitting that it be named in his honor. This is a full size rescue knife with the requirements of first responders in mind. It features a rounded sheepfoot blade that has no pointed tip.
